October 12, 2023 - Funfly Eastern Shore

It was a beautiful day on this Thursday in October so I left working on the RV-10 early and went for a fun fly.  I crossed over the Bay and just flew south to the Choptank River and then turned back, making a loop.

Here I'm approaching Kent Island with the Kent Narrows at top center.
   
Looking down on a fabulous mansion overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.  Nice landscaping!  Of course the estate has a dock pier but it even has its own little beach area.
   
The good old Chesapeake Bridge.
   
Bay Bridge Airport is closed while the runway and taxiways undergo major overhaul.
   
But the grass strip at Kentmorr Airport Community is fully operational.
   
A new waterfront mansion going up on a prime piece of real estate.
   
Of course, I have to give these three mansions on the Tred Avon River the award for best group of wtaerfront estates.
   
Another very nice waterfront estate.
   
Does this one have it's own baseball diamond?
   
The Eastern Shore looking pretty in the late afternoon sun.
   
All we need is some fall color and it would be perfect.
